One of Seattle's signature early season events is just around the corner, the St. Patty's Day Dash. What could be more fun than running through the Emerald City for just a few miles before slaking your thirst at the post-race beer garden?!
The run starts in front of McHugh's Restaurant on Mercer in Lower Queen Anne, then meanders through the South Lake Union neighborhood before runners head to the Aurora Bridge and back to Seattle Center area finish near EMP, followed by the post Dash Bash.
If you've not yet participated in a group run, this is a friendly and enjoyable event - suitable for families, walkers and strollers! Check the event website for details on which wave to sign up for, grab your friends, suit up in green and have fun!

Sunrise Announces "Just Tri It" Challenge for 2012
Well, we've done it. Recently challenged the Sunrise Identity population to step out and try something new, the oft-dreaded and frequently misunderstood triathlon. Totally optional experience, though one the wellness team believes is within reach of everyone at the office.
We selected the 2012 Seafair Triathlon on Sunday July 22nd and Mercer Island's Escape from the Rock Triathlon on Sunday September 9th.
Nearly 20 Sunrisers have indicated interest in participating, so with a bit of luck (and gentle arm twisting) it looks like we'll have 30% or more participating in the Sunrise Just Tri It Challenge.
